Douglas Eynon works mainly with sculpture, drawing and painting. He often depicts fictive and surreal landscapes in which he reuses certain mundane elements like candles or trees. Eynon lifts these elements to a certain level of absurdity through their repetition. His works contain a certain autonomy but they can also be combined to form multidisciplinary and dynamic installations. The sculptures can for example reappear in the drawings and paintings in the background, thereby creating imaginary landscapes where certain themes and characters appear again and again.
